Having heard about the successful tour by the Fishko’s and taking notice of their positive dealer feedback, James Mitchell, of John Mitchell Fine Paintings, London, decided to stop by Whidbey Island himself and see the yacht. His timing allowed him to see the newly erected pilot house and constructed interior of the ship. As he stood in his assigned booth for the Greenwich tour, James allowed accompanying Expoships staff to snap his picture as a before and after cameo shot. Once again on terra firma, James stepped back to look at the magnitude of the ship and stated: “Well done Expoships! After visiting the ship, I realize the scale of the project cannot be conveyed through pictures alone. SeaFair offers an extraordinary new opportunity for art dealers and we look forward to being on board!” To view the most recent photos of the Grand Luxe, click here. David and Lee Ann Lester received a warm welcome last week from participating dealers at the Paris Biennale and from other prestigious dealers throughout the city. Old clients and new expressed their excitement and anticipation of the Grand Luxe’s launching date next February and the ship commencing operations next June beginning in Greenwich. The innovative SeaFair marketing program already under way which identifies, profiles and confirms collector attendance in advance astounded dealers reviewing the concept. Many expressed the view that this entirely new marketing approach could completely revolutionize future business for the dealer community.

September 8, 2006 - David and Lee Ann Lester, managing principals of Expoships, traveled with Bob and Cheryl Fishko, of Forum Gallery based in New York and Los Angeles, to Whidbey Island, Washington. The Lesters were proud to present the latest construction advances in SeaFair’s megayacht to Mr. and Mrs. Fishko. Forum Gallery has applied to take part in SeaFair during the inaugural tour in 2007-2008. This trip represents the first time SeaFair has hosted a client who’s expressed purpose of traveling was to view the Grand Luxe. We are proud to say that SeaFair’s first site inspection was a resounding success. Standing at the bow of the yacht looking up, Bob Fishko stated, “I’m speechless… and that doesn’t happen very often.” Lee Ann Lester continued stating, “The progress on the Grand Luxe is accelerating at an incredible pace; therefore, we are right on schedule for the completion date.” To view the most recent photos of the Grand Luxe,
