Expoships, LLLP, developers of SeaFair, the world’s first fine art yacht exposition, announced today a partnership with the Bruce Museum of Arts and Sciences, during the ships inaugural ceremonies in Greenwich this September. SeaFair will commence at the Delamar Hotel dock in Greenwich Harbor on September 25, 2007, and will host a private benefit black-tie dinner the same evening. The following night will feature a benefit cocktail party, “Art Aboard!;” proceeds from the events will benefit the Bruce Museum’s education programs. Former White House Chef Walter Scheib, known for his numerous television appearances and recent book The American Chef, will be providing the White House-style culinary faire.

Expoships announced the successful launching of the world’s first exposition megayacht in Freeland, Washington on March 3, 2007. The 228 foot, 1250 ton ship, designed by Luiz DeBasto, made an initial transit to Nanaimo, Canada to board a heavy lift transport ship for delivery to Florida where final interior finishing, outfitting, and crew training will take place in the coming months.

David and Lee Ann Lester were thrilled to extend invitations to Gallery Owners and interested Press Contacts for SeaFair’s aerial tours on the ExpoAir plane. The tours were offered the first week of October during the International Art and Antiques Fair. Participants were given the unique opportunity to fly over the ports, estates and harbors in Fairfield County, Greenwich CT, Westchester County and the Hamptons. While viewing the locations that the Grand Luxe will visit for the inaugural segments next summer, guests sipped on champagne and snacked on chocolate.
